Hello E-Trenders! I have missed you! I've been quite pre-occupied over the past year not only with events but with the birth of my sweet baby boy Troy ~
Troy came into this world about two months early, weighing in at 2 lbs 5 oz, he needed lots of love and lots of prayers and boy did he get all of that and more!
I have wanted to share his baby shower with you for so long but with preemies there are challenges. Troy is about to have his fourth surgery. And still, he never ceases to amaze us by steamrolling through his difficulties. High fives, a charismatic smile, strong legs and a strong man grip. An inspiring spirit and enormous joy! I thank all of my friends and family everyday for your love and support and of course I feel very grateful for all of our E-Trenders for being such amazing fans of the work and passionate ideas Sue and I share.
Being an event stylist and coordinator, I had ideas of what I wanted our baby shower to look like and shortly after I found out I was pregnant, the planning went underway...
The inspiration piece for the shower... umbrellas dripping with crystal raindrops...an idea I had seen before and fell in love with!
Our scene was set in the Grande Ballroom of The Lafayette Grande Banquet Facility We sat at the yellow table representing that Troy is our Sunshine.
For months I scoured antique stores, and online for the perfect antique baby carriage until finally discovered this little treasure! My step father Steve and my mom Rose really gave this little carriage some TLC and fixed it up beautifully!
Pulled out my Cricut machine for a little banner crafting!
This punch was such a hit!

What would a baby shower be without a decadent sweets table?
I am so inspired by quotes so whenever I can incorporate them into an event, I will! To create this idea, I printed the quote, accesorized it with scrapbook stickers and framed it!
Another idea I use a lot is to jazz up plain votive candle holders with bling stickers!
I would like to thank the following companies that helped me bring my vision to life, I could not have done all of this without you and I am very grateful and love you all so much...
